The Beginning

Our founder, Christian Highlander, obtains his NJ real estate license and begins his career in the timeshare industry at Flagship Resorts, located in Atlantic City, NJ.

Consumer Rights Experience

In the fall of 2003, Christian began working for Wyndham Vacation Resorts in their marketing and sales department. During his tenure with them he excelled at his position and received multiple awards. Christian was eventually trained on timeshare compliance which taught timeshare owner consumer protection rights and guidelines. This education gave him knowledge of  what would become the foundation for today’s timeshare cancellation industry.

Research & Development

With the stock market crashing and a recession leaving many Americans unemployed, consumers began looking for ways to eliminate frivolous expenses.

It was at this point that we began developing a process to assist consumers in eliminating the burden of their unwanted timeshare debt.

Using the experience he gained at Wyndham, Christian created a process that would help consumers relinquish their timeshare ownership. Over the next several years, through research and development, a time-tested cancellation process was born.

After several years of successful research and development Timeshare Advocates of America was officially formed and opened its doors to the public.

Leadership & Experience

With the rapid growth and popularity of their services, Timeshare Advocates of America incorporated high level executives with extensive experience in timeshare compliance with some of the largest timeshare developers. These executives were instrumental in the preservation of timeshare owners rights. While working for those developers, they led quality assurance teams that were responsible for preventing deceptive sales tactics from being used against timeshare owners.

During their tenure with Timeshare Advocates of America they utilized their skill sets, acquired in the timeshare industry to assist timeshare owners in achieving millions in canceled timeshare debt. As well as created and implemented systems that continue to help timeshare owners cancel their timeshare debt.

Timeshare Advocates of America celebrated it’s 10 year anniversary by opening a new facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Here, they have been able to continue growing and providing their services to consumers in need.
